Abstract

Ju'ālah, also known as reward, is something given to someone for what they have done. In Islamic law, ju'ālah is not limited to lost items, but can be any work that is beneficial to a person. Like Shopee's new program, the Shopee affiliate program allows content creators to earn more money by promoting Shopee products on social media. The program asks new members to use an administrative referral code in addition to providing discounts on products. This makes some people hesitate to join this program because, according to managers and members, this program is similar to MLM which is not allowed, which benefits managers who don't work and harms working members.
