Abstract

Early childhood education is the first step in building a solid educational foundation for children. This stage emphasizes the importance of quality learning in helping children reach their maximum potential. Educators' basic teaching skills play a central role in improving the quality of learning in early childhood education environments. The aim of this research is to determine and analyze the contribution of basic teaching skills to improving the quality of learning at this level. The research method used is a descriptive analytical approach using literature analysis. This research is qualitative in nature and does not collect primary data through questionnaires or interviews. The research results show that basic teaching skills make a significant contribution to improving the quality of learning in early childhood education. Therefore, educators must actively develop and strengthen their core teaching skills through training and ongoing professional development. Improving the quality of learning at this stage can have a positive impact on the child's growth and development process and prepare them for the next level of education. (Dkk, 2023)
