Islamic Religious Education is provided with the aim of following religious guidelines that teach individuals to become devout to Allah SWT and possess noble character. This education aims to produce individuals who are honest, fair, ethical, courteous, respectful, disciplined, harmonious, and productive, both personally and socially. Educators are expected to develop teaching methods that align with competency standards and basic competencies. A professional teacher must not only master the material to be taught to their students but also be able to choose the appropriate methods and techniques for each teaching material. This is crucial to ensure that the teaching and learning process remains conducive and enjoyable, so that the desired outcomes can be achieved in accordance with curriculum demands. Recognizing the importance of methods and techniques in the teaching process, the author intends to discuss "Teaching Methods in Islamic Education." This discussion includes the definition of teaching methods, teaching principles, various teaching methods, and techniques for using these teaching methods. The goal is to help teachers understand the methods and techniques of teaching in Islamic Religious Education so that the teaching and learning process can proceed smoothly and effectively.
