MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KONTEKSTUAL MAN 2 MODEL MEDAN DALAM MENGATASI PERKEMBANGAN MORAL SISWA

The contextual learning model is a learning concept that helps students develop critical, proactive and innovative attitudes, because students have the opportunity to test themselves through life and constructive experiences under the guidance, guidance and direction of teachers. The learning process takes place naturally in the form of student learning activities and experiences. The application of the contextual learning model in the moral development of students at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Medan Model aims to make learning more effective and meaningful. This research is a type of qualitative research. In this research, data collection includes observations, interviews and notes. The collected data was then analyzed using descriptive analysis methods. Then the data processing uses three main stages in research, namely: data reduction, data presentation, and data verification (final data). In this research it was found that the contextual learning model in the learning process was better than the conventional learning model. Learning becomes more active, creative and innovative. Apart from the teacher providing material and integrating moral values by inviting students to know the application of moral values in everyday life, the teacher also succeeded in introducing several contextual learning components in this learning model, including: 1) constructivism 2) discovery (inquiry) 3) inquiry (questions) 4) learning community (collective co-learning) 5). Modeling.
